Refund & Cancellation Policy
Stock Watcher is a one-time purchase, delivered instantly as a licence key. This page explains exactly when you can get your money back, and how.
7-day refund. If Stock Watcher doesn't work for you, email us within 7 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full. We'd rather fix the problem — but if we can't, you get your money back.
1. If it doesn't work, you don't pay
Stock Watcher needs a licence key to run, so there is no free trial version. The refund below exists precisely for that reason: buy it, install it, connect your broker — and if it doesn't work on your setup, tell us within 7 days and we refund you in full. The risk of trying it is ours, not yours.
Your download link and licence key are sent to you the moment your payment succeeds.
2. When you are eligible for a refund
We will refund your purchase in full if, within 7 days of buying, any of the following applies:
- The software does not work on your computer and we cannot fix it.
- It does not do what this website says it does.
- Your licence key did not arrive, or does not activate, and we cannot resolve it.
- You were charged more than once for the same purchase (we refund the duplicates immediately, no questions).
3. When we may decline
So that the policy is honest in both directions, we may decline a refund if:
- More than 7 days have passed since purchase.
- The licence key has been shared, resold or published.
- The request is because your broker changed, restricted or withdrew their API, or your broker account or token stopped working — this is outside our control and does not mean the software is faulty.
- The request is because the software did not tell you what to buy or sell. Stock Watcher is a read-only watcher and is explicitly not investment advice.
- You want a refund because your investments lost value. The software reports your accounts; it does not influence markets.
4. How to request one
Email praneeth.thommandru@gmail.com from the address you bought with, and include:
- Your licence key (or the payment reference from Razorpay).
- Which version you bought — Lite, Business or Pro.
- A sentence on what went wrong, so we can either fix it or refund you.
We reply to every request within 2 business days.
5. How long a refund takes

Refunds are always issued to the original payment method through Razorpay. We cannot refund to a different card, UPI ID or bank account.
6. What happens to your licence
When a refund is issued, the licence key is deactivated and must no longer be used. The application will stop being activated on your computer. Your local data — holdings, ledger, settings — stays on your machine and is yours to keep or delete.
7. Cancellation
Stock Watcher is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. There is no recurring payment, so there is nothing to cancel and you will never be charged again automatically.
